Privacy policy
Last updated: June 2026
This policy explains how Kerry Sutcliffe(“I”, “me”) collects and uses your personal data when you visit kerrysutcliffe.com or get in touch. I am a sole-trader coaching practice based in Manchester, UK, and I am the data controller for the information described here.
What I collect
I keep data collection to a minimum. The information I hold falls into two groups:
- Details you give me directly through the contact form or by email: your name, email address and the contents of your message.
- Basic, anonymised information about how the website is used, gathered to keep the site working well and understand which pages are useful.
How I use it
I use the details you send to respond to your enquiry, arrange a discovery call, and carry out any coaching we agree to. If we go on to work together, I hold the records needed to run that coaching relationship responsibly. I do not send marketing emails unless you have asked me to, and I never sell or rent your data to anyone.
Lawful basis
I rely on the following lawful bases under UK GDPR:
- Consent, when you submit the contact form or email me, so that I can reply to you.
- Contract, where we are arranging or delivering coaching you have asked for.
- Legitimate interests, for keeping basic records and running the website securely, balanced against your privacy.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to coaching are kept only as long as needed to respond, and then deleted. Where we work together, I keep relevant records for as long as I am required to for tax, legal and professional reasons, then remove them securely.
Sharing your data
I work with a small number of trusted service providers, for example email and scheduling tools, who process data on my behalf under appropriate agreements. I only share what is necessary, and I will never pass your information to third parties for their own marketing. I may disclose data if the law requires it.
Cookies
This site uses only the cookies needed to function and to understand site usage in an aggregated way. It does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data I hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how it is used, and to data portability. You can also withdraw consent at any time where consent is the basis for processing.
To make any of these requests, email me at kerry@kerrysutcliffe.com. If you feel I have not handled your data properly, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though I would always rather you came to me first so I can put things right.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will appear on this page with a revised date at the top.
